[General] Facebook & Dropbox

The first few weeks of this module we've been tasked with redefining our games primary characters and environment so that we can implement actual game-play into it and make a fully working level. We've started to discuss as a group what assets in our level will have to change and what assets we'll have to add in order to make our game work efficiently in coherence with the puzzles we decided to have in-between battles, we've discussed what powers the character will have to solve these puzzles and how these powers would also be utilised in the games combat.

We looked at some of our controls schemes from last years individual game design documents and we liked some of the ideas, however we decided on having 4 key elements which the character would use in a analogue wheel format or 4 elements that can be switched instantly by choosing the corresponding element with the D-Pad. We still like the idea of Devil May Cry-like combat with quick combination attacks using fire, earth, water, ice and air. The air element will be mostly used through the manoeuvrability for example; dodging, jumping, running and so on. This is the Facebook group as it stands, I made a temporary banner that we used for the blogs favicon, this is subject to change as a fellow Graphics Design student is working on logos:

A part of the initial planning and communication was to create a new Facebook group and Dropbox, here are a couple of screenshots to illustrate the creation of it. Aidan created a brand new shared folder from his personal Dropbox to ours so it was easily accessible, we can apply our naming conventions as follows. Here are some Dropbox screenshots:
